Well if you want the disc then no but it might get scrathed while in there and shipping and i dont know if they send the game back with it, they probably do though.
Either that or if the tray doesnt open, you can take a knife and GENTLY pry the tray open, if its on it should open automatically, if its off, just pull it open.
Either you have the game disc in the wrong way or the laser that scans the disc is broken. I would send it to Microsoft.
