The full seeding process begins once your torrent download has reached 100%. Seeding never truly "finishes." In fact it actually begins once you have started the download of the torrent yourself. As you download, whatever you have downloaded is in turned shared. You can continue to seed the torrent as long as you are allowing others to download.
A seed is a client (a person) that has a complete copy of whatever torrent you`re downloading. Once your torrent is done downloading it will remain open until you close it (This is known as being a seed or seeding). Lots of seeds = Faster downloads! So keep seeding !!! You can take a look at my blog for a complete explanation of torrents www.1001lostlinks.blogspot.com

To set up seeding in uTorrent, first ensure that you have completed downloading a torrent file. Once the download is finished, leave uTorrent running to allow it to seed, which means uploading the file to other users. You can adjust your seeding settings by going to Preferences > Bandwidth to set upload limits or by selecting a specific torrent and right-clicking to prioritize it for seeding. To maximize your contribution, keep uTorrent open and your internet connection active.
Seeding in file sharing refers to the process of providing files to others after you've downloaded them. When you finish downloading a torrent, you can continue to keep the file available for others by leaving your torrent client open and connected to the network. This allows others to download from you, contributing to the overall health of the file-sharing community. Maintaining a good seeding ratio helps ensure that files remain accessible for everyone.
If you have a download 100% completed you become a seed. utorrent will keep uploading (seeding) to other users so they can also complete their download. Keep in mind: If nobody would seed you could never complete a download. So please leave utorrent open seeding as long as you can to help others.

A torrent is just a "pathway" to the files. You will need a torrent software to download them like "uTorrent". After it's downloaded you can choose to share your files through that torrent, keep it or deleting it whit out harming the files downloaded.
This error message, "Error: Can't open .torrent file:[plus the original location]" appears in the status column. This error has happened many times over the years, mostly when the location of the .torrent file has changed through directory changes above that level or something else. I have never found a remedy. I know how to reset the location of downloading or seeding files, that IS NOT the issue. I need to know how to change of reset the location of the .torrent file only, or allow the client to find it if it has moved. I want to do this WITHOUT removing the torrent and restarting from scratch from the new location, which loses the stats. Thanks in advance for any help.
The only reason torrent files work is because people seed them. The files you download with torrent software actually come straight from other peoples' computers, not from an internet server. When people seed a torrent, they allow the files to be copied from their computer onto the computers that they're seeding to. I've never seen a torrent client that didn't automatically seed. As long as you don't delete the files downloaded, you keep the torrent client open and you don't tell the client not to seed, you will automatically seed. It's considered internet etiquette to seed, as a thanks to the uploader of the torrent file, and so others can get good speeds when downloading.
You need to have a torrent downloader as well as a torrent file opener. If you don't have both, this could be the reason your android device doesn't open downloaded files through torrent.
