While using the DVR that ATT UVerse provides is much easier, it is not impossible to use other TV recorders. ATT UVerse is not fully compatible nationwide with every TiVO for instance, but it involves some sophisticated maneuvering. Basically, the TiVO has to add ATT UVerse IR codes - which is not a trivial task. Some more information can be found at http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=351670.

You will use a power supply cable to get power to the Xbox 360. You can use several cables to connect the Xbox 360 to TV. The most popular cable to use to a HDMI, this will give you the best 1080p picture (if you TV supports it). The original cables to connect xbox to tv is RWY cable.
HI There are no specific uverse coupon codes, I know since I got the service last month and searched everywhere for codes. However, sites like RicksCouponPicks.com have att uverse promotions on a monthly basis with direct uverse cash back promotions from ATT. You can get cash back promotions on various amounts depending on the month on uverse products but no coupon codes at this time. Hope it helps.
Yes, UVerse does offer DVR. It is less expensive than most cable companies and you can have it in each room. Most cable companies only allow you to have it on one TV.
You need an Xbox 360 VGA cable.
