Cheat codes are collecting all the barrels with the Rockstar Games symbol on it. There are 60 of those barrels in Los Angeles. Every time you find ten barrels, you get a cheat. If you've collected ten barrels, you get unlimited nitrous. Twenty equals no damage on vehicle. Thirty equals unlimited special abilities. Forty of them will earn you the top down view camera. After fifty, there are no cops available, so you are permitted to cruise at maximum speed. If you possibly collect all the collectables in this game, you cannot lose any money. Remember, if you activate your cheat codes, you are unable to receive any REPS or money. Racers with red markers are considered the hardest, though you can smoke 'em easily with this easy trick. Before starting a highway battle, build up lots of speed from behind the opponent. As you pass, flash your lights to start the race. You'll blast by the opponent before he even thinks about accelerating, giving you an awesome advantage and an almost surefire win in the short race
