If your trying to install the creature creator and Spore at the same time, you don't need to as the full version of spore comes with a full version of the creator(minus the parts packs.)

Yes it can, but I strongly recommend buying SPORE full version. When you buy it you get the creature creator, an evolution game, along with the ability to create boats, land vehicles, airplanes, Spaceships, city halls, houses, and entertainment centers. Very fun!
