Yes. But only the controller with the wire. Not the wireless controller.
Completely different things, the xbox 360 slim is the same thing as the original xbox 360 except new design and 250 gigabytes, and the kinect is this new technology enhanced controller where you are the controller, kinda like the wii except 50 times better. I have the kinect and i gotta say its pretty cool.
KINECT, for XBOX 360. The camera allows you to "become the controller"
July 6, 2010: There is no official name for the new Xbox 360, but Kinect is an add-on for the Xbox 360. However I'm not sure if Kinect will work for the "old" Xbox 360 and only the new Xbox 360.
you can play xbox games with kinect plugged in but unless the game sais on it that its for kinect it wont work with it.
yes you need the new version of the xbox for the kinect to work
theres a new gizmo for the xbox that came out i think September 2010 called kinect spelled just like that and its compatible with any xbox 360 just make sure when you buy a game it has the kinect label on the front of it.
Firstly, its called just the Kinect, not Xbox 360 Kinect. The reason being is that the Kinect is a open source hardware which can be used by other companies. The kinect will connect to all Xbox 360's. With the older models, you will need to attach the power supply (included). The Xbox 360 S does not need this power supply.
no
No Kinect games come with the regular Xbox. If you buy Kinect than you get Kinect Adventures. If you a Kinect Bundle for $250 (Regular Kinect sensor is only $150 and comes with kinect adventures) than there are three games that come with the Kinect sensor. The games depend on what bundle you get.
The old elite needs an adaptor the new one is ready
You dont need the kinect to set up the Xbox 360 S. Lets just sum this up. The kinect is a add-on for ANY Xbox 360 console. Asker note: No, I mean, how do I set up a new Xbox 360 that I am not using Kinect on.
No. Just hook the old X-box with the new Kinect.
