For example, if at the moment the elevator disconnects the coin is moving upward at 1 m/s (with respect to the elevator), it will continue going upward at the same speed (once again, with respect to the elevator), until it hits the ceiling. This is because both the elevator and the coin will accelerate downward at the same rate.

Actually he did not, he use the the stairs for a while... Then he used elevators again & so far he has not gotten stuck in one.

basicaly you go to valor lakefront and you will see a girl called cytinita and she will give you an item. Then go towards celestic town where there is a group of phsyduck and talk to them and they will move. then explore the town you unlocked. go to the gym 5th and up the elevator and then go in the far right door then up the elevator again. now go throgh the middle door and up the elevator again. finally go to the far left door, and there should be the gym leader!!!
