How can you catch Mew in Pokemon Emerald without Cheats or going to a Nintendo Event?

It is impossible to get Mew without GameShark/Action Replay for Black 2 and White 2 and below. The events for Mew has ended for all those games and capturing Mew in the wild is impossible as well.

Beat the elite four 20 times and go to route 118. Save the game pull the game out (while the game is playing) Turn the game off then turn it back on and save the game. Now you can walk through water then you'll find a mew (shiny mews are common there) You'll also have a glitch to find uknown numbers.

1:You were there at an event

2:You use an action replay device (cheats)

3:You trade for one

It requires the "Old Sea Map" which is only obtainable through a now long gone special event, so you are out of luck. With a cheat device, though, you can obtain the old sea map and go get mew the way you wwould without a cheat.

im sure you can migrate mew from one of the GBA games or you can find someone who has mew and trade it to you or you can have a GBA game and use a gameshark to catch mew and migrate it to your ds
