There's at least two ways to do it, three I think... I haven't done it yet myself, so I might not have the best answer but I know the ways ;)
One!-> If your computer is close by, you can get a wire and connect it.
Two!-> Get a wireless router.
Three!-> The funnest one to fool around with. Use your Wii to search for a signal and connect it to that signal. Fun fun fun to do in an apartment or condo.
In order to connect a HDMI monitor to a Nintendo Wii console, one would first have to buy an adaptor as Wii consoles do not have HDMI connections. There are several tutorials on how to achieve this on the internet as well.
