How do i stop my fifa 12 to stop freezing on the title screen?

Check for any kind of damage on the disk. If there is non, try to wipe the dish a little with some clean clothing. If you've already tried this and there is still no improvement, there could be something wrong with the game itself. Ask the store/person you bought it from. If these people proved to you that the game works for them, then there is something wrong with the console itself. (some kind of error when the disk is being read). Could be caused by some kind of damage to the disk-reader itself if you've hit the console somehow.
