You can do it the slow way, by smelting - relatively slow, but also cheap. You can actually get money from smelting. Or do it the fast way, and smith items, for example, mithril items. That costs you a lot of coins. An "intermediate" way is to smelt, with the Superheat Item spell. Faster than going to a forge; you lose some money, but not much.
