To attach a gift to a letter in Animal Crossing for GameCube, first open your inventory and select the item you want to send. Then, choose the option to write a letter and select the recipient. During the letter-writing process, you'll see an option to attach an item; select that and choose your gift. Once you've finished writing the letter, send it off, and the recipient will receive both your message and the attached gift!
