To beat Fracktail in Super Paper Mario you need to wait for him to appear from the righ hand side. He will do this after flying to the right overhead. Flip to 3D once you hear him coming and hop onto his back. Lil'...um...ducklings will apepear on his back. Use Thoreaux to pick them up and throw them at his antenna on his head. After a couple of hits he will do a loop-de-loop. If you are skilled enough you can hold back until you can't stay on anymore, then leap high and to the right off the far end of his tail. If done correctly you will land on his head again, thereby eliminating the ground phase.

are you kidding me? all you have to do is change into 3D when tippi tells you to. then move to the side so fracktail doesn't hit you when coming. also make sure you thoreu handy so you can grab a little monster on top of fracktail. bring the little monster to the head of fracktail, jump and hit that green ball on the top of his horn. if you do that 3 times then fracktail will knock you off. if your lucky you can run to the end of the tail and jump on his head to reapeat this process. its okay if you get knocked off. all you have to do is reapeat the process until eventually that one glorious moment will happen when fracktail is defeated.
