How do you beat the shogun on red dragon island?

Jump up when he growls and stomps, or you will be knocked down. When he comes at you, jump over him. Eventually he'll get mad (red-faced) and run at you. Dodge him again and he'll fall from the platform, and you'll be the winner.

*Note - Even if you get knocked over in the last part of the battle, as long as the Yokozuna falls too, you still win.

Take the ninja training that Basho provides after you defeat the Yokozuna at the sumo arena. You must become proficient in 5 weapons, 4 of which are selected one-at-a-time from the icon at lower left.

Shuko (claws): climb the trees

Bo staff: spacebar to spin and deflect what Basho throws; run and use spacebar to vault up

Smoke bombs: aim with mouse, spacebar to throw smoke bomb

Throwing stars: aim with mouse spacebar to throw a star at the bag, and throw at the flame on the candle

Grappling hook: click on the ring (circle) on the branch of the tree

Using the water attack of the Cloud Dragon, shoot the Red Dragon until he expires. You also have to keep putting out the fires he sets in the buildings. If you lose, Easy Mode lets you beat him more easily.

Answer 4

Throw a ninja star at the rope holding the cage. It will fall down releasing Jack and Annie. When the Shogun tries to command the Red Dragon, it sets the town on fire. Get him to give you the wand,and you go to Mount Fuji where the Cloud Dragon has arrived. Ride the dragon to spray water on the red dragon and the town until the fires are out and the dragon extinguished (he will turn bright red).
