In Empire Earth, to build missile silos, you first need to advance to the appropriate age that unlocks this technology. Once you have the technology, gather resources and ensure you have enough space in your base. Select the missile silo from the building menu and place it strategically. Finally, ensure you have the necessary resources to construct it and defend it from enemy attacks.
Looks like they are *missile* silos, though no one seems to want to say it in print. Lots of missile silos in Montana, and there is an AFB close by.
If you mean shoot them down, you cant. The only thing you can do is take it if its been fired. However (I've never tried this) they may get destroyed if you can blow up the silos they were launched from and they (the missles) may dissapear. Also sendinding jet fighters might work but i doubt it. I've had jets fly near missles but they didn't fire. if you have air craft over the missile base while the ICBM is launched it destroys the missile or you could have anti air guns in between the missile and target they should destroy it

The missiles are pushed out of their silos with compressed air and rise to the surface literally in a bubble of air. Very little seawater comes into contact with the missile until it breaks the surface of the water. The missile is ignited at the surface and the guidance system steers it to it's target.
The Atlas F missile silo, part of the U.S. Air Force's intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) system, typically has a depth of about 150 feet (approximately 46 meters). This depth allows for the protection of the missile and its launch systems from nuclear blast effects and other threats. The silos were designed to be highly durable and secure, providing a robust platform for nuclear deterrence during the Cold War.
