If you are a member go to the runescape home page and click on account control, if you cannot find that.. you will figure it out.

Name changing is very popular now, because people started with lame names and now are older and want better ones o)

if you want to change your Gender, go past Falador, and north of the Crafting Guild, you know when your there because there are Sheep and there is a guy in there, he will tell you "everything is safe" just dont forget if you want to do this operation, you will need 3,000 coins.

Yes, it is possible to change your RuneScape display name, but it is not possible to change your login name, which remains permanently as your sign-in username. Any name changing means you will need to login using the username you initially registered.

To change your display name, login to the RuneScape website. On the top-right area of the webpage above the main banner [header] where your account details are shown (player name and avatar if any has been set) and at the bottom of the webpage [near the footer] are links to your account page. If using the header, hover over 'account' and select 'account settings'. If using the footer, click 'profile and settings'.

Both will lead you to the heart of your account's page. From here you can change your password, setup/activate JAG, upgrade or add more membership or redeem a membership pin and more. Expand the 'Change Character Name' box by clicking it. From here you can specify a new name provided a) you're a subscribed member of RuneScape (P2P) and b) the name has not yet been taken by another player.

Simply under the account setting section of the homepage click the change username link there and then type a new name, and if it is valid it will be changed.

Note: A certain amount of user-names can be created per IP before the action is throttled.

Yes. Go to falconreach and go left. There is this guy between the health and mana shop. Talk to him. You can change your gender, name stuff like that. By the way, it costs like 1000 dragon coins or possibly more.
