How do you complete the water temple?

the water temple is in Lake Hyrule. you must have the iron boots.(you get those in the blue ice cavern near the area where lord jabu jabu was as a kid) go to the lake and get into the little thing of water hit the switch thing above the underwater door with the hookshot under the island in the middle of the lake. the door should open then just go inside.

You use your heavy boots and wear your blue tunic to go under water at lake hiylia and you will see a door under water you go in there and that's were the water temple is.

Yes, you do go underwater in Lake Hylia with the Iron Boots and the Zora Tunic, but once your underwater get out the hookshot and hit the diamond. It will fall out and the bars will open up. Go inside and take off the Iron Boots. You will now be in the Water Temple.

Run, swim, swear a lot and get to the end after about three days of solid playing! My advice, wait till Friday, buy the 3D remake, and try it there. Supposedly easier.
