How do you duel someone on World of Warcraft?

Click on their name/portrait. Then right click on their picture/portrait. There are options such as inviting them into group, targeting them, and dueling them. Click on duel to duel them. Or an easier option is click on the player, then type in /duel
That will let you duel the player as well.

There are two types of pets in wow you can fight with. There are hunter pets and companion pets. With hunter pets you only have to be attacked as long as its set on defensive or assist.

For companion pets, You must first have MOP activated on you account. Then go to either Stormwind or Org. and locate the pet battle trainer. After doing his quest you will be able to battle and capture pets.
