How do you get Xbox live with an Ethernet cable?

Theyre are 2 ways 1 buy a $100.00 xbox live connector (I do not recommend it) or you could bring your router and modem to your 360 area and plug the xbox live cord (comes with the xbox ) into your router and plug the other side into your 360 and that will then automaticcaly connect your modem to your Xbox 360!!!

If you have the standard white X-BOX all you have to do is get a high speed internet connection and hook the cat 5 ether net cable to the back. Get a Microsoft card from the store for 3 months of service. Follow recommendations by the X-BOX. Sometimes it is advisable to unplug the router for 15 sec if things aren't connecting. Good luck

there are 2 ends of an ethernet cable one goes into your xbox one goes into modem make sure both your xbox and modem are off when you have connected both plugs the modem should restart by itself when it has turn on your xbox and then go to system settings then network settings and lastly test xbox live connection if you have done this correctly you should have a message saying xbox live is up and running if the test failed i dont know what 2 tell you

First you have to connect an enthernet wire to the xbox and the modem. Then you press the reset button and wait about 30 sec.
