There is seven of them. 3 can be achieve in Halo 3 but the other 4 you have to have halo3:odst ~Annual~: you have to beat the last level over xbox live with four players in ghosts on legendary with iron skull on. ~Lightswitch~: get a leutenent grade with the new ranking system. ~7on7~: get 7 EXP in any playlist on the seventh of the month. ~Brainpan~: find the six skulls on the mythic maps.

And in Halo 3 odst there are Classic you have to be on xbox live on solo and complete a level on legendary without shooting or throwing grenades. deja vu you have to complete Highway on four player legendary live co-op with iron skull on and don't get in a warthog or scorpion and lastly endure you have to in Firefight, on any mission, pass the 4th set on 4 player heroic live co-op. The achievements in odst are all worth 25g and on halo 3 are worth nothing and when you have all 4 of halo 3 and all 3 of halo 3 odst you will unlock the Recon armour.(AWSOME)

It is simple. get these vidmasters, brainpan (find all 6 mythic skulls), annual (complete halo 3 campaign on legendary, with the iron skull on with everyone on ghosts, over live), lightswitch (get to the lieutenant rank in any playlist in the new EXP progression system), 7 on 7 (get 7 EXP on the 7th of the month), Deja Vu (complete coastal highway on legendary, with iron on, with no hog or scorpion, over live), Classic (complete any mission on legendary, over live, without firing any rounds nor throwing any grenades) and Endure (Go past the 4th set on 4 player firefight on heroic). pretty simple. this also gets you Recon. Just go to your bungie profile and find the road to recon. once all 7 vidmasters are done, find get recon and there you have it, you completed all 7 vidmaster achievements and not only that, you also got Recon.
