How do you get lives on new Super Mario Brothers?

(YOU NEED REAL SKILLZ FOR THIS)

In world 2 go to level 5 where the latiku is. Be ready with either the regular Mario (for pros) or a Mario with a power up (exept star and mini mushroom). Then go to a place where there is a little block on one side and another on one side to block the shells. Get Yoshi and swallow one shell. Spit it out into the place where there are two blocks. Be sure to spit it between the two blocks. THen you have to Dodge the shells the latiku throws and the shell that you threw. Soon enough if done right, you get literally get unlimited 1-ups

Ok there are many ways but I will say few of them.

1. Get Datels Action Replay and Hack it-you can also hack for time etc

2. Go to 2-4 and turtle tip-look it up on YouTube it is hard to explain

3. Repeatedly do 1-1 and use the giant mushroom to get 5 lives each time

P.S If you dont know what datels action replay is it is a device for your ds which you upload codes onto and then put in your ds, take it out when the codes are loaded then put the game in. If you have an R4 you can use nitrohax to do this!

Well, there is a level that has a kind of bullet-bill staircase. Keep jumping up on the ones that are shot at you, then you get a 1-Up. If you keep jumping, you'll get a lot of lives. Look it up on YouTube since I suck at this game and didn't get very far.

You get lives multiple ways:

1. Get 100 coins and you win a life

2. Green mushrooms around the game will win you lives

3. World 1 get the big mushroom ? and keep walking crushing all you can. The most lives from that you can get is 5!

to get 99 lives in nsmb wii just go to world 2-3 and at the end you will see a green turtle coming down the stairs.If you time your jump just right you will kepp on bouncing on the turtle until you get 99 lives. easy!!
