How do you get rid of your child on sims 3 ambitions for the ipod?

I have the same problem, I have a toddler and I just want it gone. What you do is treat your child badly. If its a baby, when it cries, do nothing. Of its a toddler, don't do anything! When it sits at the table cuz its hungry, don't feed it. Then the social services will take your child away for poor treatment. Caution: it might be very sad to let your child go if social services take your child away and your sim will become depressed

There is a way actually. but it is a cheat.

first, you press crtl, shift, c (all at once) a bar will come up on the top of the screen, then you type in, testingcheatsenabled (no spaces) or, testingcheatsenabled true (it doesn't really matter...) press enter.

after that, press shift while clicking on who or what you want to delete. there should be three options surrounding the person/thing. click the one that says 'object' and there will be a button that says 'delete' just click that and it will be removed from the game.

that is all you have to do!
