The odds of getting a shiny Pokemon are 1 in 8000 something..you have to keep walking around in the bush otherwise use a GameShark or action replay (cheat device) and there are some tricks to getting them to appear easier (I've heard that if you have a certain Pokemon with a certain ability in your party the odds of the wild Pokemon being shiny drops to 1 in 2000 or something..not too sure what the ability is though...i think its serene grace..or something -_-)
