There is a limited amount of hose. If you try to go around the outside, you will not get to the maintenance area. Instead, go up into the hub of the circular rooms. When you reach the middle, the rooms will rotate slightly. Go down and right to the maintenance area. The tracking device is in the vent at the right, and your exit is to the left.

Despite the admonishing sign, the medi-hose is just what you need to flush the vent where the Locator Device is. Take the hose and go directly up toward the hub of the rooms. When you get there, come back down to the right, into the Maintenance Area. Use the hose, get the device, and exit through the BioWaste chute to your left.
Once you have flushed the Locator Device from the vent, exit through the BioWaste hatch to your left.
Use the medi-hose to wash the Locator Device out of the disposal vent in the infirmary. Once you pick up the hose, you have a limited length, so you cannot go around the outside. Instead, go left and up to the center hub of the circular room, then down and right to reach the Maintenance Area. Use the hose on the vent and the Locator Device will wash out of the other end. (Exit using the BioWaste door.)
You have to use the medical hose, which is on a reel to the right. Pick up the hose and carry it up into the circular layout of the rooms. Go up and left 4 times until you reach the center or hub. When the rooms turn slightly, go down and right and you should reach the Maintenance Area with hose to spare. Use the hose to flush the waste vent at the right side, to reveal the locator device. Leave through the exit at the left side.
It is in a disposal vent in the Infirmary at the Research Station. To reach it, you need to use the pressure chamber to temporarily squash yourself to fit past the blocked door. In the infirmary, take the hose from the reel at the right and go up toward the hub of the circular lab. When you reach the middle, go slightly right and come back down, and you will be in the maintenance area. Use the hose to flush the locator device from the vent, then exit to the left. You do not have enough hose to go around the outside. If you run out, you can wind it up and try again.
To effectively clean your dryer vent hose using a dryer vent hose cleaner, follow these steps: Disconnect the dryer from the power source. Remove the vent hose from the dryer and the wall. Attach the dryer vent hose cleaner to a vacuum or blower. Insert the cleaner into the vent hose and move it back and forth to remove lint and debris. Reattach the vent hose and plug in the dryer. Run the dryer on a no-heat cycle to ensure proper airflow. Regularly clean the vent hose to prevent future blockages and improve dryer efficiency.
It is in a waste vent in the Infirmary, part of the Research Lab north of the main base. Drive there and pull away the meteor with the rover. Use the pressure chamber to squash you so you can squeeze through to reach the Infirmary door. Inside, grab the medi-hose and take it to the center hub of the rooms, then back down to the right to reach the Maintenance Area. Use the hose to wash the locator out, then exit through the BioWaste chute at the left side.
The best way to connect a dryer vent hose to a dryer vent hose connector is to slide the hose onto the connector and secure it with a hose clamp. Make sure the connection is tight to prevent leaks and ensure proper ventilation.

Attach one end of the hose to the dryer vent and the other end to the vent outlet. Secure the hose with clamps to ensure a tight fit. Test the dryer to ensure proper ventilation and airflow.
