How do you get to cinnabar island in Pokemon Blue?

first you go to pallet town after you do that you shooed surf in a lake and keep going down there shooed be a island there. if you don't have surf it is at the safari zone in a house you shooed also get golden teeth and give it to a man he will give you strength

to get into the Pokemon gym which is run by blaine who uses fire type Pokemon you must 1st get the secret key from Pokemon house which is next door in order to get to the key you must work your way to the basement there isn't any stairs what you must do is jump down from the second floor i think you will encounter fire,poison and normal types in there along with info on mew from books and when you get into the gym behind each trainer you will find a machine if you answer the question correctly you do not have to fight if you fail you will have to levels vary from late 30s to early 40s for the Pokemon encounterd in this gym hope this info helps
