The procedure listed below is not hooking an air card to a PS3, but using the laptop as router and modem for an air card. Not saying it will not work only that you can not connect a PS3 to an Air Card directly. As the procedure below suggest the PS3 must use either the ethernet cable or have a WiFi connection to DSL or Broadband.
First, you need an ethernet cord and of course an aircard. connect one end of the the ethernet cable to your playstation and the other to your laptop.
View your network connections (control panel-->network and internet connections-->network connections).
Right click on your aircard connection and click properties.
On the aircard properties window click the advanced tab. on the tab there will be a box asking if you want to let others connect to this connection. check in that box. below there will be a box asking what the home networking connection is. Put **Local Area Connection** in the box.
Last make sure firewall is turned off.
On your playstation go to network connections and click easy and go from there. (dont try to put in IP adress or anything just let the playstation do it all automaticly).
Test your connection and you should be good to go.
