How do you join a game in minecraft pe?

First, make sure you are both connected to the same internet. Then tell the other person to make sure his server is enabled (in the options). THen you go in join game and if everything is working right then you should see his username and ip. Tap it and you will start connecting to his world. (This usually takes a while).

on 0.15.0 you go to friends and press the button next to the add friend and type in the hostname and ip address and press add server if you need name of a server here is one

Go to join game. You have to be relatively close to the person you want to join games with. It will take a while but eventually, you'll join that persons game.

in the 0.15.1 you go to friends and either connect to Xbox live or get a friend to join the same network and the name should pop up under the friends line
