To do this, ask around! If you have friends who play Minecraft, perhaps they run a server of their own. Alternatively, you can try browsing the web for servers of your interest. If anyone else in your household plays Minecraft, you can play through LAN (Local Area Network) with them.

If you are playing on the Ipod,Ipad,Iphone you can't you have to redo everything but its totally worth it this was my first way of playing minecraft because my computer sucks but now i have it on xbox360 which i prefer more then the Ipod Ipad or Iphone but it will make you start everything over but you can do so much more with it like join games with people and other awesome stuff.
