To make graphics on stardoll you need either Gimp or photoshop, you can use paint but i highly recommend you don't.
As a beginner i suggest you start of really basic.
Try getting a picture of your doll then practicing on gimp or photoshop, try moving the arms and legs around to practise poses.
If you find it confusing try watching some videos on YouTube.
Once you master poses try basic clothes by getting pictures of clothes off stardoll and positioning them on your graphic.
Eventually you will find it easier.
Take it one step at a time, after clothes try shading using the burn and Dodge tool, then try making hair, then making clothes, then drawing your own doll.
Eventually with alot of practise you will make graphics from scratch without tools from stardoll.
But take it slowly, these things take practise. Keep looking up visuals on youtube and good luck.
