To upload a new skin to your minecraft account you must go to the website: minecraft (dot) net and login to your profile. Then select the option to go to your profile at the top of the screen. This takes you to a new page. Near the middle of the page it says "Change Skin".
Before you can perform this step though, you must first find (or create) a minecraft skin, save it to your computer.
Once you have saved a skin, go back to your minecraft profile page and click on the "Browse..." button. Then navigate to where the skin you wish to upload is saved and select it.
Once you have done this, select the upload button. You have successfully changed your minecraft skin!

Do a Yahoo/Google/Bing/ search for "Minecraft Skins" and pick one of the thousands that people have made. Then go to your profile on minecraft.net and upload it there. The next time you log into Minecraft you should have it on.
It may take a few minutes or longer for their severs to register it depending on how busy they are.
