How do you open presents in the mail on animal crossing?

All you have to do is click on the letter and say click on " Remove Present ", then it goes into your pockets ( mkae sure you have room in your pockets first ), last click on the present and click on " Open ".

You go to your pockets then pick whatever item you want to give. Then you go into your letters and press the letter you are giving to the person.
