How do you retexture hats packages and gears in Roblox?

Requirements: Roblox Studio and PAINT.NET

1. Making a Copy

a. First, go to the Catalog look for a gear, hat, or package.

b. Second, Open a place in "Develop" section.

c. Insert the item by copy and paste the name on the Search Bar.

d. Then, you open it (whatever you inserted) and Look its "Mesh"

e. Highlight the "Mesh" and In Properties you will see "TextureID"

f. Copy the code (Numbers Only) and Paste the code in the Catalog: Decal.

g. You should see a decal (And must be made by Roblox)

h. Highlight, Right click and Save Picture as...

***Check the decal in your Computer Folder: Picture

2. Retexturing

a. Open up PAINT.NET and Open the Texture from your Folder.

b. On top of Paint.Net, You will see "Adjustments" and Click it.

c. First, Click the Hue/ Saturation and you can pick the color and transparency.

d. Once you are done. Click "Adjustments" again and Click "Sepia"

e. Then Save your new Texture to your Folder.

f. Next, In Roblox Studio: Develop Click "Create New Decal" and Load your New Texture and Publish it.

***If the decal didn't load and you see grey, Then you aren't doing anything wrong. The decals must be approve by the Roblox Developers.

g. At the same place and in the same Item you want to retexture; Go to its Mesh and Replace the code with your new code from your Decal ID.

h. The Item should change colors and Highlight the item and Publish it and It will end up as a "Model"

For Packages will take more time than Hats and Gear because there are Torso, Left and Right Arms and Left and Right Legs.
