To release more characters, u must beat arcade mode under medium difficulty, don't die even once. For example:

1) Kunimitsu - Beat the game with Yoshimitsu and Michelle

2) Bruce Irvin - Beat the game with Bryan and Kunimitsu

3) Jack-2 - Beat the game with Gun Jack and Yoshimitsu

4) Lee Chaolan - Beat the game with Heihachi and Bruce

5) Wang Jinrei - Beat the game with Lei and Xiaoyu

6) Roger & Alex - Beat the game with Armor King and Bryan

7) Kazuya Mishima - Beat the game with Roger and Jin

8) Kuma II/Panda - Beath the game with Paul and Roger

9) Ogre - Beat the game with King and Heihachi

10) True Ogre - Beat the game with Jin and Armor King

11) Prototype Jack - Beat the game with Jack-2 and Yoshimitsu

12) Mokujin & Tetsujin - Beat the game with Kunimitsu and Lee
