You cannot get a "smokeing" body in Halo: Reach however there are three Armour Effects that are similar. Incliment Weather (priced at 2,000,000 cR) gives your Spartan or Elite a grey thundercloud around their body which emits lightning occasionally. Pestilence (priced at 1,000,000 cR) gives your Spartan or Elite a green-brown cloud of dirt and flies around their body and Legendary (free with the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach) causes flames to engulf your Spartan (or Elite)'s helmet but does not produce any smoke. All three take some serious saving of real-life or virtual currency to buy and can be purchased/equipped at any rank, as long as you have enough cR.
3-4 years
Halo: Reach was the last game made by Bungie and was released on September 14, 2010. In it the setting will be on Planet Reach, a planet inhabited by humans. You play as Noble Six in Noble Team which is a group of Spartan 3s and one Spartan 2. The events take place in the Fall of Reach, about 20 years before Halo: CE. Microsoft will be making the new Halo games but they're probably just going to screw up the fun. -.- It's not 20 years before CE! It's less than a month before the events of Halo CE. The Pillar of Autumn escapes Reach and after carrying out the Cole Protocol finds Halo and Keyes decides to land on it. Read your books, and play your games. the guy who wrote the second awnser is right. the order of the games should be; halo reach- halo 1- halo 2- halo 3 & halo 3 ODST.
it will take around a week on normal for a average gamer.
the whole game is based upon the fall of reach. and masterchief is the only spartan left so yeah noble team is not supposed to survive. EDIT: Noble team does die, but Master Chief is not the only Spartan II soldier alive. Read in the books of Halo: Fall of Reach, Uprising etc EDIT2:All of Noble team dies except for Jun (Team Sniper) who escorts the scientist off reach to Shield planet where more then likely the next halo will take place. So no though Master Chief and his big ego survived the Spartan Program on Reach, He wasn't the only one.
