For the quickest way to have your baby co to the cheat menue(shift-ctrl-c) and type in (exactly like this)~boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true~ then hold shift, click on a Sim, click spawn, click~tombstone of Life And Death~,click on the tombstone after it spawns (don't be alarmed if your game temporarily freezes up), and click more until you find the option~speed up my pregnancy~and then your Sim's baby should be born the next day
PS: you can spawn other objects to further improve/ruin your Sim's life
