Well for me it takes about twenty minutes and I have a msi laptop so it really depends on the system.
it depends on if your computer (or laptop) is slow or not. :3
It's not possible. You will have to install and start a completely new game.
Because all Sims games come with a serial code, you can Google the code and use that, for example: I have the base game ( The Sims 3 ) and lost the code. So I Google: The Sims 3 serial code. Keep searching for the code ( it won't take long ) and use it to install your game. I've done it before and the game runs perfectly. No cheats, no downloads, just Google! I hope this helped and good luck installing! :)
I only know for a pc...but what is do is you put the disk in the disk slot, and a box will come up and click INSTALL...then it will take a REALLY LONG LONG time to go and then it will ask you a few things about the game and then all you have is if you want to play the game, you click PLAY if not click exit and your READY TO GO!!!!
You can't. If you want to install any expansion packs, you need to have the Sims base game installed otherwise the expansions won't work.
try install windows xp service pack 2 then install the sims 3 but there might be a chance it will erase the data of the old windows xp if all sorry if this doesn't work.
to get riverview on sims 3 you have to go to the sims store and register. You cannot NOT register. It doesnt take long and its free! So just go on and buy it and install it :)
Well, it depends. For my birthday, I got both Sims 3 (base game) and Island Paradise (expansion pack). To install both the base game and that expansion pack with exclusive content, it took about 30-40 minutes. I basically could play on the same day. But, if you buy and install it directly from Origin (which I did with Pets and University Life), it might take about 5-48 hours! I know it's a big difference compared to the earlier one but it's true.
Yes, you can install one copy of Sims 2 on as many computers as you want. However, you need the Sims 2 disc to start up the game. You can take this Disc out after you have gotten into a Neighbourhood and start up the other Sims 2, however, the Disc will be required for loading screens sometimes (Neighbourhood -> House etc.)
You just take it out and put it back in and then it will go through the whole process again you can reuse the code. Called a re-load.
You might have a lot of custom content installed. I do, it takes my game about 15 minutes to load.
It usually takes 15-30 minutes to install fully, but for the most part it depends on your computer speed/connection.
