How much internet usage does World of Warcraft use?

I've run it on as low as 30kb/ sec but I reduced the quality and I reduced the size down to 1024 x 768 (from 1920.) Generally expect 50kb/s for bigger and better results. My DSL normally gets 160kb/sec.

Although you can play World of Warcraft with just a dial-up connection, you need at least minimum cable speeds to make it at least enjoyable. World of warcraft will play on nearly any kind of internet connection, even dial-up connections. However, the better your connection (faster) is the better your experience will be. With a dial-up connection, you will be slow casting spells, moving, logging in, everything will be slow. On any kind of high speed connection, your experience will be greatly improved.

when you start you use alot for the patches but after that when you play you use internet when you on there are other patchs that have to be downloaded otherwise the game cannot play
