Pretty sure it is $9.95 Dollars a month Gold membership, and $7.95 per month Silver. Gold membership gives you everything Silver does, but you can chat online with people and gives you a few other important benefits. I would definitely recommend getting it, as it makes the Xbox 360, so much more fun.

it really all depends on the type of membership you choose.

if you want GOLD (which means you get Netflix,Zune,and you can play and talk with friends, PLUS A LOT MORE) it cost $60 for a year membership. Other options are available. You can get SILVER membership for free and that will last forever but you have no acess to talking with friends or netflix or anything i said in parenthases above.
