well, you have to always check on your "Tom Nook Point System" to see how many points you have, if you have 590 points, you will get Nookingtons, to get points, you buy things from his store, eg. if you buy bags of flowers, you get 1 point, if you buy the items from the opposite table with the axe, fishing rod, timer and shovel, you get three points and if you buy a note in a bottle or medicine, you get two points and if you buy the furniture that varies on the back wall, you get either 24 points and over depending on how much the item is!

QUICK TIP: if someone from another town buys at least 1 piece of furniture, you will get Nookingtons much quicker!, Good Luck!!!

actually no you have to pay a certain amount of bells and get a friend to visit and buy something it doesn't have to do with your points! you have to pay 240,000 bells and get a friend to visit and buy something. good luck
