PSP-1000, or PSP Phat, are just the names for the PSP's original model, yes. PSP-1000 is the model number.
The number shows which model the PSP is, the final digit is the region. The original model of PSP, is PSP-1000. The 'street' PSP is 'E1000' not 1000, it is a slightly different model and is the last to be released, after the PSP-3000. It has the PSP-3000's updated screen, but has mono sound instead of stereo, and no wireless functions. The '4' at the end is the region code for continental Europe and India.
Yes, all the PSP chargers are the same. The PSP 3000's 5V charger works fine on a PSP 1000.
you cant. They arent the same generation of PSP
The PSP 1000 series is often called the 'fat' or 'phat'. The e1000 is not quite the same as the 1000.
Yes. The last digit is the PSP's region, but all 'PSP-100X' models are identical.
they are the same but the slim and lite are slimand lite
The short answer is no. The PSP slim "CAN" take the larger battery from the PSP-1000 series, but it sticks out and you need to get a custom battery cover for it. The PSP-1000 can take the Slim or PSP-2000 battery, but, the same logic follows. It's best to keep the proper batteries to the right console.
Yes, the chargers for each model are the same. It can charge a PSP 2000 or a 3000, etc.
all psp's do.all but the new psp go, you can only download games to itThere is no such thing as a PSP 4000. Just 1000, 2000 and 3000 for the original PSP series, and N1000, which is the GO.
There are no such things as version specific 'PSP1000 games', there are only PSP games, and the UMDs can be played exactly the same on PSP 1000, 2000, 3000 and E1000, but not the GO which lacks a UMD drive.
Clearly, the PSP slim and lite (PSP 3000 has been out for some time now) is better then the original PSP. I would only recommend the PSP-1000 if you have a tendency to drop your PSP a lot since it has a metal chassis which the slim and lite does not have.
The PSP models that have Wi-Fi are; PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000, PSP Go (N-1000). The PSP E-1000 (PSP Street) does not have WiFi
