Well there is no best weapon but i find a weapon that can block does relatively well against this lightning beast. You can block his lightning that emits from its body by using a lances shield but other then that you should be fine if you try and avoid its attacks and then attack it when you have a chance.
use a saber or a wyvern blade maple.just use fire elements for khezu.
get kut ku stave bow. Dodge his attack charge bow and shoot. Use this so you can easily dodge its attacks, and have a good offense against it! A bowgun also works well on him. (use the Craig and clust)
