It is your computer, if your using a laptop then use it on a different computer that's not a laptop. Your aloud to install the Sims 3 again, but make sure you have all of the stuff you need to install it again. If its not a laptop then you probably have a lot of downloads on your computer. You find the rest of your crew through out the island. They will just appear randomly. Depending on how many Sims you made, I'm not sure where EXACTLY. I found mine on the 2nd island and i only made 2 Sims. Then you just greet them and raise the relationship between the Sims. Once it reaches 20 or higher, you may ask them to join your tribe.
