How do you receive gifts sent to you for your FarmVille?
Look through your inventory and you'll see your items. Before you even get into FarmVille it will notify you about your new gifts.
Why can you not see your friend list to send gifts?
You can only send 24 gifts per day - so if you have sent them names won't show up that day. However, my list never originally shows up so I have refresh about 4 times and sometimes load the regular friends list and then when I try farmville list it will load. Some kind of magic. Haha

You get gifts from neighbors, and when you log on, you'll see farmville requests. Click accept, and go on FarmVille, and look at your gift box, which is the little present near the bottom. Click use or sell, if you want to use it click use and put wherever you want. If you want to sell, click sell.

How can you accept a Farmville neighbor request?
The neighbor requests can be found on the requests page. After logging into Facebook which will land you on your home page you can either click on Game Requests to the left of the screen or click locate the header Requests to the right of the screen and then to the right click on the blue highlighted link that says See All. This is the page that among other items such as gifts waiting to be accepted or declined for FarmVille will have the neighbor requests for Farmville. At this point simply click on Accept and go from there.

One day, For them its 23 hours. You may send 2 gifts per day. Open the gift page (2 at once - 2 windows) then choose your friends on each and send! As the previous person said 2 gifts per day, it is possible to send 3 gifts per day but you got to get the timing right. its a little hard to do but you got to start early morning then check back every so often to see if you can send another gift then again later that night. now doing gifting via farm cash during special events when you can buy items for you or send to a friend. these times i know of are valentines day and Christmas, but i have noticed farmville gifts that can be bought via farm cash can be bought now. any thing that is coin everyone knows is unable to be sent as a gift, items that is bought by coins can be sent but only a small amount due to them being able to be sent via free gifts they are white sheep, white fence, apple and cherry trees again this isn't from the market just the free gifts for those.
Why are you not getting the Farmville gifts that neighbors send?
on your home page there is a button to check gifts from any game that you play. To see them on farmville, you have to accept them from your home page first and then it will show up. if you wait two weeks before accepting a gift it expires so accept gifts immediately to avoid losing them.
