Yes, there are several cheat codes for "The Legend of Zelda II: Adventures of Link" on the NES. One popular cheat allows players to access the game's debug menu by pressing Up, Down, Left, Right, A, and Start on the title screen. Additionally, players can use the Konami Code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A) for various effects, including gaining extra lives. However, using cheats can alter the gameplay experience, so it's often best to play the game as intended for a full experience.

Don't Cheat! Just distract them by talking to them or throwing stones at them!
zelda is one of those games where you cannot use cheat codes. you can, however, use glitches. glitches can be a good thing or a bad thing. bad because they could sometimes stuff up your save file but good because they can also be helpful. there is one glitch i recall from the legend of zelda: twilight princess where link can have infinite bomb arrows.
