On Harvest Moon Magical Melody how do get married?

first get a level 3 house by befriending any 2 of the carpenters (at least 1 heart)

then the large bed should be able to purchase under "furniture" and then get your chosen partner (must be opposite gender) to 8 or more hearts the mayor should come to your door the next day and say that its about time to get married. Then he will ask you if you are up for a challenge, you must climb to the top of mt.moon and find a bluebird feather. This feather is a proposal feather to the girl whom you choose to marry, when she excepts it the following day you would get married. (to marry Jamie it doesn't matter on gender you just need to awaken the harvest goddess and other things, its much harder so i wouldn't advise so just marry some one else, i married Ann, also you cant continue playing with Jamie as your spouse so you'll have to force re lode to before the proposal and marry some one else)

Than propose with the Blue Feather.

Make sure Nathan and Alisa haven't left the Island. Other wise there will be no one to preform the wedding ceremony and then you can not get married.
