Should a preschooler watch her dad play violent video games with gore and bad language?

Think about this: All children imitate what they see on t.v. They imitate what people do in front of them. Would you like your preschooler to take a knife to school and start stabbing other children? Would you like for your preschooler to start picking up bad language? Would you like for her to start imitating the game while at school or in public? Children pick up on things and act on them. Children still have yet to learn right from wrong. If your daughter wants to spend time with you, try playing simple matching card games with her, eye spy, Simon says, old maid, etc. I guarantee she will appreciate that more rather than "watching her dad play violent Video Games". Also try taking her to the park, or to the zoo. Set time aside to play your video games when shes asleep, not home, busy playing in her room, watching a good childrens movie in another room, etc. Hope this helps.
