i would recommend ranged armors, such as leather armor, hard leather studded armor and green dragon hide for f2p players and snake skin, frog skin armor and red/ black dragon hide for p2p players. But these require ranged and defense level to wear them. I would recommend to level up your ranged to 40 and wear dragon hide chaps and vambraces. they are quite cheap compared to their defense stats. or get to level 40 defense and finish dragon slayer and wear dragon hide body. combat robes and other robes are useful against magic, but they are expensive and has lower stats compared to the dragon hide armor. Also, you have to recharge robes or it is useless.
Armor continued to be made by products from the Stone Age - leather, hide, padded and wooden as well as bronze and gold.
nobody. the only way to obtain it is to kill yaks on neitzinot for their hide, then bring them to the tanner on neitzinot, he is the only person who can tan tak-hide, then, assuming you have the reqired crafting level, use a needle on the tanned yak hide with some thread in your inventory at the time and you will be able to make it into armor.

In Minecraft, rabbit hide is an item that can be obtained by killing rabbits. It can be crafted into leather, which is useful for making armor, books, and item frames. Additionally, rabbit hide can be combined with other rabbit hides to create a piece of armor called the "leather tunic." While it has limited uses, it can be helpful for early-game crafting.
According to Edward Grim's eyewitness account they hide them under a sycamore tree, and their metal armor under cloaks.
Body armor is pre-historic. When man learned that several layers of hide would keep an enemy spear from causing injury the idea of armor evolved. When copper and bronze weapons started being able to defeat hide armor, boiled leather and metal composites were invented, then ring, and finally plate. When guns became the common weapon of the soldier, armor became ceremonial and eventually disappeared until WWII when the aviators in bombers asked for something to shield them from flak and modern body armor was born.
