Advantages:

  • Relatively strong for its weight
  • Very versatile (bendable)

Disadvantages:

  • Can be difficult to work (making joints etc)
  • May not be durable enough for certain purposes

Btw you would usually use ash for things like oars, Baseball bats, Hurley's, etc

Depends what your making, i'd usually only use it to make woodwork projects which I require something to be bended in for aesthetics, etc.
