i need good settings for my pcsx2 plz help :(
You might be unable to turn off speed hacks in PCSX2 due to specific settings or configurations that have been applied in the emulator. Check the "Emulation Settings" under the "Config" menu and ensure that "Speed Hacks" are either disabled or set to their default values. Additionally, make sure that you're not using any external plugins that could interfere with the emulator's performance. If problems persist, consider resetting your PCSX2 settings to default or checking for updates.
Ram, free memory, if it is compressed, if it is defregmeted lately, what operating of system, what battery settings you have, your internet connection, the temp. of CPU and the processors.
no a virus cannot speed up the operating system even if it was sent from it
A Pentium 4 is really limited in it's ability to run PCSX2 at a decent speed. The reason is that the Pentium 4 is a single-cored processor. If your processor supports it, make sure Hyperthreading is enabled. If your Pentium 4 support EM64T (64-bit), try running a 64-bit operating system as well.
If you are talking about the PC version, then YES. But, you can't install the PS2 version. You need PCSX2 and the PS2 ISO image of the game for that. You can get PCSX2 from http://pcsx2.net You need the best PCs out there to run PCSX2 at full speed.
CD drives are supported via a class driver; the operating system does not care what speed the drive is.
Operating systems don't have a "speed." The faster the computer is, the better the system runs.
A speed number is a rating given to a process to indicate how quickly it is running. It is often used in industrial settings to measure the speed of machines or production lines. The higher the speed number, the faster the process is operating.
The use and performance of an operating system are influenced by several factors, including hardware specifications such as CPU speed, RAM capacity, and storage type. Software compatibility, including drivers and applications, also plays a crucial role, as does the system's configuration and user settings. Additionally, the operating system's design, including its kernel and resource management capabilities, impacts efficiency and responsiveness. Lastly, external factors like malware and system updates can affect stability and performance.
when you start up, you have to go to configure, and then go to configure again, I am running windows XP home edition 2003. I turned the sound off, and then enabled monotone sound. This caused pcsx2 to be compatible with my system, and actually run. I also installed in the plugins folder, my basic driver that was for my display from windows. Then it ran smooth, and has ever since. If you want even more speed then you need to turn on Asycronous read, for your CDVD drive, and enable the VUI checkbox. if you have any more questions email me at brandon.stevens4@yahoo.com hope this helps, and I am still trouble shooting more .dll files and drivers to get super speed out of this thing, so maybe one day I can beat FFX in less than one day. ................................................................................................................................... also try lowering the resoultion to 600x400
Partially. Raw speed comes from the hardware, but a operating system that can optimize better than another makes it faster. It also depends on your definition of "advantage"
computation speed up resource sharing reliability
