Some notable pins include those featuring characters from popular franchises like Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. Serial numbers were typically associated with the redemption of rewards or the registration of games, allowing members to earn points towards exclusive merchandise. However, as of 2015, Club Nintendo has been replaced by My Nintendo, which features a different rewards system.
